A Donor Agreement was signed between Ministry of Ayush and World Health Organisation on 24.05.2025 at Geneva Switzerland. The MoU was signed and exchanged between Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director General, WHO & Vd. Rajesh Kotecha, Secretary, Ministry of Ayush. This Agreement relates to a financial contribution to be made by the Donor to the World Health Organization (WHO) towards developing Traditional Medicine intervention. At the 78th World Health Assembly, The Government of India representative Mr. Arindam Bagchi said that India continues to support WHO Traditional Medicine Strategy 2025-2034 as it supported the World Health Organization (WHO) Traditional Medicine Strategy 2014-2023.
