Ayurveda Parv is being organised at the Dada Nagar Convention Centre, Ahmedabad, from 9th to 11th January, 2026, by Ayurved Vyaspeeth Kendriya. The Ministry of Ayush is, in principle, supporting this event under its IEC Scheme to strengthen public outreach. Essential technical and academic coordination is being provided by the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) and other National Institutes. The participation and cooperation of CCRAS are instrumental in ensuring adequate representation of Ayush research activities, public outreach initiatives, and the Ministry of Ayush’s IEC objectives during the event.

On January 09, 2026, Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha, Secretary, Ministry of Ayush, Government of India visited CCRAS- Central Ayurveda Research Institute (CARI), Bhubaneswar to discuss the establishment and development of the ‘Ayush Diksha’ Centre — a dedicated facility to enhance the human resource capacity of Ayush professionals. The deliberations were held in the presence of senior officials from Ayush, CCRAS, CARI, and CPWD. The team also conducted a site visit to inspect the construction work and reviewed the work progress.
The workshop on “Standardization in the field of Ayurveda” was organized by the Ayush Department, Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), in association with the Division of Ayurveda, CIMR, MAHE, at Manipal, Karnataka, on 9 January 2026. Jayant Deopujari (Chairperson, Ayurveda Sectional Committee, BIS) and Dr. Sharath K Rao (Pro Vice-Chancellor, MAHE) addressed the gathering on harmonizing traditional knowledge with modern regulatory frameworks.
