The first WHO Traditional Medicine Global Summit will take place in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, from August 17-18, 2023, and will be co-hosted by WHO and Govt. of India, which holds the presidency of G20, 2023. A memorandum of understanding was signed between Ministry of Ayush and Department of ex-servicemen welfare, Ministry of Defence with an objective to integrate Ayurveda in ex-servicemen contributory health scheme (ECHS) at 10 polyclinics across India. This will further expand Ayush health services in Defence.

A high-level meeting between Ministry of Ayush and Hungarian delegation from Széchenyi István University was held at New Delhi today under the chairmanship of Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha, Secretary, MoA.
