At the 78th World Health Assembly, The Government of India representative Mr. Arindam Bagchi said that India continues to support WHO Traditional Medicine Strategy 2025-2034 as it supported the World Health Organization (WHO) Traditional Medicine Strategy 2014-2023. That the Ministry of Ayush is committed for global propagation of evidence-based TM was reflected in Mr. Bagchi’s address to the Assembly when he said that India is committed to Health for All and India exhibits a unique integration of modern medicine with evidence-based traditional medicine practices in public health system.
