A meeting was held at Ministry of Ayush on 06.03.2024 under the chairmanship of Secretary Ayush, to discuss the project progress of the Ayurvedic Management of Rheumatoid Arthritis (AMRA) project which is currently ongoing at CARI, Bengaluru, AVP, Coimbatore, and CARI, Mumbai. The mentor and advisor of the AMRA project, Dr. Daniel E. Furst, MD, MACR (Professor of Rheumatology University of California in Los Angeles (emeritus), University of Washington, Seattle, Washington University of Florence, Florence, Italy), Prof. Vd. Rabinarayan Acharya, DG, CCRAS, Dr. Ram Manohar, Amrita Institute of Ayurveda and representatives from AVP and Amrita were also present in the meeting along with the research team from CCRAS.
