The workshop on “Standardization in the field of Ayurveda” was organized by the Ayush Department, Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), in association with the Division of Ayurveda, CIMR, MAHE, at Manipal, Karnataka, on 9 January 2026.
Jayant Deopujari (Chairperson, Ayurveda Sectional Committee, BIS) and Dr. Sharath K Rao (Pro Vice-Chancellor, MAHE) addressed the gathering on harmonizing traditional knowledge with modern regulatory frameworks.
The event featured an expert discussion led by Prof. (Vaidya) Rabinarayan Acharya (DG, CCRAS), who delivered the insightful and thought-provoking sessions on connecting CCRAS research to future R&D priorities for standardization.
