The Ayurveda Sectional Committee of the Bureau of Indian Standards received the prestigious BIS Committee of the Year award for its outstanding work in standardization.
The award was presented during the 78th Foundation Day of BIS on January 6, 2025, by Sri Pralhad Joshi, Hon’ble Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Govt of India, Smt. Nidhi Khare, Secretary, Dept of Consumer Affairs, and Sri Pramod Tiwari, Director General of BIS.
The Ayurveda Sectional Committee’s Chairperson, Vd. Jayant Deopujari, along with Member Secretary Dr.
Raghavendra Naik, and senior committee members, Dr. BS Prasad and Dr. Pratap Makhija received the award.
