A meeting on strengthening international cooperation in the field of Traditional Medicine, advancing
collaboration with WHO & scaling up the preparations for 2nd WHO Global Traditional Medicine Summit,
2025, was convened at Ayush Bhawan, chaired by Ms. Monalisa Dash, JS, MoA.
Dr. Shyama Kuruvilla, Director, WHO, Dr. Lori McDougall, Advocacy & Partnerships, GTMC participated in the
meeting, which delved on fostering a deeper partnership with WHO by organising this prestigious summit to
enhance global awareness and implementation of Traditional Medicine Practices.
Shri Pramod Kumar Pathak, Principal Consultant, MoA, Mr. Jasvinder Singh, Director, IC Section, and Dr.
Raman Mohan Singh, Director, PCIMH were also present in the meeting.
