Prof. Vaidya Rabinarayan Acharya, Director General of CCRAS, has been conferred the prestigious D.Sc. (Doctor of Science) degree by Utkal University, Bhubaneswar. He is the first in India to receive a D.Sc. in Ayurveda (Dravyaguna). His research focused on the ethnomedicinal plants of Odisha’s Gandhamardan Hills and their potential to enhance the Ayurveda Pharmacopoeia.
