On 14.08.2025, Prof. Lydia Aziato, Vice Chancellor of the University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHS), Ghana, visited the Ministry of Ayush to review progress on the recently signed MoU between the Institute of Traditional & Alternative Medicine (ITAM), UHS, Ho, Ghana, and the Institute of Teaching & Research in Ayurveda (ITRA), Ministry of Ayush, Government of India. The MoU, signed during the Prime Minister’s visit to Accra, Ghana, on July 2-3, 2025, aims to strengthen future collaborations in Traditional and Complementary Medicine. The meeting was attended by Shri Jasvinder Singh, Director, IC Section, Shri Dheeraj Debnath, RO, and Dr. Smita Patil, YP.
