In a proud moment for India, 22,122 tribal students from five mandals in Visakhapatnam district came together to perform Surya Namaskaras, setting a Guinness World Record for the largest gathering doing the yoga sequence.
The event was inaugurated by Tribal Welfare Minister Gummadi Sandhya Rani, who inspired the crowd by actively participating in the session.
This historic achievement was the result of f ive months of early morning practice, with students waking up at 4 a.m. daily to prepare. Their dedication and unity showcased the transformative power of yoga, discipline, and community spirit.
