केंद्रीय आयुष राज्य मंत्री (स्वतंत्र प्रभार) श्री प्रतापराव जाधव ने आज अखिल भारतीय आयुर्वेद संस्थान (AIIA), नई दिल्ली में ‘आयुर्विद्या एडवांस सेंटर’ का लोकार्पण एवं आयुष बीमा से संबंधित प्रोजेक्ट मैनेजमेंट यूनिट (PMU) का शुभारंभ किया। संस्थान की यह अत्याधुनिक डिजिटल पहल आयुर्वेद शिक्षा में डिजिटल लर्निंग और संचार को नई दिशा प्रदान करेगी। वहीं, आयुष बीमा संबंधी PMU हितधारकों को समयबद्ध व पारदर्शी सेवाएँ उपलब्ध कराने के साथ-साथ जनता को आयुष बीमा योजनाओं की जानकारी और लाभ तक सरल एवं प्रभावी पहुँच सुनिश्चित करने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाएगा।”

A bilateral meeting was held on 28.08.2025 between the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India, led by the Secretary, Ayush, and a high-level delegation from Sri Lanka led by Dr. Anil Jasinghe, Secretary, Ministry of Health & Mass Media.The discussions focused on exploring avenues of collaboration in Ayurveda and other Traditional Systems of Medicine. Both sides deliberated on the prospects of signing a country-level as well as institute-level MoU.The proposed cooperation will facilitate academic and research partnerships between experts from both countries in the field of Traditional Medicine.

The Meeting of the Parliamentary Consultative Committee for the Ministry of Ayush was held in the national capital today, chaired by Shri Prataprao Jadhav, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Ayush. Members of Parliament from both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, representing various political parties, attended the session to deliberate on the future direction of Ayush in India and its growing global footprint.Highlighting the significance of the meeting, Minister Jadhav noted that this was the first time since the Ministry of Ayush became an independent ministry in 2014 that a dedicated Parliamentary Consultative Committee has been constituted.
Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, August 22: The four-day Regional Workshop on WHO Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for Herbal Medicines, jointly organized by the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS), Ministry of Ayush, and the World Health Organization South-East Asia Regional Office (WHO-SEARO), concluded today at the RRAP-Central Ayurveda Research Institute, Mumbai, according to an official release. The workshop hosted 19 international delegates from South-East Asian countries, including Bhutan, Thailand, Sri Lanka, and Nepal, alongside prominent Indian experts. The event served as a dynamic platform for training and knowledge exchange, aimed at enhancing global standards in herbal drug quality.
