Singh, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Ayush, Government of India and Dr. Taweesin Visanuyothin, DG, Department of Thai Traditional and Alternative Medicine in presence of Hon’ble Minister of External Affairs, India, S. Jaishankar and Parnpree Bahiddha-Nukara, Foreign Minister, Thailand, signed an MoU to establish an Academic Collaboration in Ayurveda and Thai Traditional Medicine. The Ayurveda and Thai Traditional Medicine collaboration fosters academic ties, emphasizing equality. The MoU enables expert exchanges, research, training, and sharing of best practices, promoting mutual benefit.

A meeting was held on 01.03.2024 in the Ayush Bhawan between His Excellency Dr. Godfrey Majoni Chipare, Ambassador of the Republic of Zimbabwe and Secretary, AYUSH in the presence of Ms. Bhavna Saxena, Joint Secretary , Ministry of Ayush in which several possibilities of collaboration with the Republic of Zimbabwe in the field of traditional systems of medicine has been discussed. The launch of the Indian Public Health Standards for Ayush healthcare facilities on 4.03.2024 at Bhim Hall, Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, New Delhi, will mark a significant step towards ensuring uniform quality in Ayush infrastructure, human resources, and medicines. This has been prepared in consultation with NITI Ayog and DGHS. These standards aim to enhance Ayush healthcare services nationwide by establishing consistent benchmarks for facilities across the country ensuring better access and quality of care for the population.
