A delegation from the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India, led by Dr. A. Raghu, DDG (Ayush), DGHS, along with Dr. Rahul Jain and Dr. Raman Kaushik, participated in the 15th Annual WHO International Regulatory Cooperation for Herbal Medicines (WHO IRCH) meeting in Istanbul, Turkey, from April 16th to 20th, 2024.
The Indian delegation made presentations on Ayush drug regulation, safety and quality of Ayush medicine, efficacy of Ayush medicine, and the International Herbal Pharmacopoeia.
The meeting, attended by delegations from 42 countries, underscored global cooperation in promoting standards and effectiveness in herbal medicine regulation.
