A bilateral meeting between India and Venezuela took place on ‘Traditional Medicine and Homeopathy’ on the sidelines of the WHO-Traditional Medicine Global Summit. The meeting was chaired by Ms. Magaly Gutiérrez Viña, the Minister of Health from Venezuela, and Dr. Munjapara Mahendrabhai, the Minister of State from the Ministry of Ayush in India. During this discussion, the Venezuelan side expressed a keen interest in further collaborating with India towards healthcare, particularly in the realm of Ayush systems of medicines.

In addition to the esteemed chairs, the meeting was attended by other distinguished officials including Dr. Manoj Nesari, Adviser (Ayu.); Sh. P.K. Pathak, Principal Consultant; Ms. Shiela Tirkey, Under Secretary; and Dr. Abhijit Dutta, Research Officer (H), representing the Ministry of Ayush, and Ms. Jagpreet Kaur, Under Secretary from the Ministry of External Affairs, also graced the meeting with her presence.
