A meeting was held on 16 June 2025 with the Delegation from Cuba on the sidelines of the 2nd Policymakers’ Forum, New Delhi, to explore avenues of cooperation in the field of Traditional Medicine.
From the Ministry of Ayush, Ms. Monalisa Dash, Joint Secretary, and Dr. Abhijit Dutta, Research Officer (H) participated in the discussions. The Cuban delegation included Ms. Olga Lidia Jacobo Casanueva, Director, CECMED; Dr. Cristina Lara, National Director of Medicines, MINSAP; and H.E. Mr. Juan Carlos Marsan Aguilera, Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to India.
The meeting underscored the shared commitment of India and Cuba to deepen collaboration in Traditional and Complementary Medicine for mutual benefit and the advancement of global health.
